The "More than a Meal" program provides children with healthy meals for free or reduced prices. Meal applications are always accepted by the Food Services Division however; the State requests our student counts for low-income, foster and English Learners by October 29, 2019.

Audubon Alumni interviewed by The Sentinel

The LA Sentinel recently interviewed 12 Audubon Middle School alumni that are employees of LAUSD and service Audubon Middle School and Magnet Center. These staff members have chosen to give back to AMS students and their community in positions such as teachers, counselors, assistant plant managers, special education assistants, and office technicians.

The LAUSD Health and Wellness Policy

To create a healthy school environment where the healthy choice is the easy choice, the District has developed a Blueprint for Wellness Policy that serves as the LAUSD’s wellness policy and guide for implementing a comprehensive health and wellness plan. Audubon Robotics Teacher Ms. Doby Honored by USC Athletic Department

Ms. Doby, our 7th grade Robotics teacher was honored today, September 18,2018 by the USC Athletic Department for her commitment to her students at AMS and the Community at large. In addition to teaching English, Social Studies and Robotics, Ms. Doby teaches Robotics on weekends through The Limitless Academy, a non-profit organization. She exemplifies Eagle Pride! AMS ROBOTICS TEAM COMPETES IN REGIONAL BOTBALL COMPETITION

On Saturday April 28 , Ms. Doby’s Robotics Class along with the Limitless Academy competed in the regional Botball Competition. The student’s that competed in the Junior Botball competition completed over 5 of the given challenges. The Advanced team which included Million Reneau, Essence Tillett, and Alex Maya came in 2nd in the double elimination and 3rd in the overall competition. Congratulations to all the students that attended!
