Audubon Middle School and Gifted Magnet Center is an urban middle school located in Los Angeles, California serving 450 students grades 6-8. Audubon students are annually assessed according to Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC). Educators provide students with the skills they need to succeed in high school and beyond. Teachers receive ongoing professional development designed to provide in-depth knowledge of the standards and research-based instructional strategies.
The teachers, administrators and staff of Audubon Middle School and Gifted Magnet are dedicated to providing a differentiated learning environment which cultivates human relations and multicultural experiences. Audubon teachers regularly develop educational approaches which present opportunities to develop varying interests, and abilities, that foster a positive self-image.
