The walk took place during both lunches after the students had eaten and were led by Coach Crystal and Audubon's Drumline. Students received 1/2 an hour of community service for their participation. Students, teachers and staff all participated in the walk and even contributed to forming a human pink ribbon in the quad. White and pink balloons were released-pink represented all the loved ones who have passed and white representing hope for a cure to be discovered soon.
