Student learning will be enhanced at Audubon because of the dedication and commitment to learning that Audubon teachers demonstrate everyday in the classroom and yes - even on Saturdays. Saturday, January 25 our teachers participated with teachers from around the ESC West school district. Audubon Scholar teachers joined teachers from Paul Revere Charter, Emerson MS, Palms, Westside Global and John Burroughs middle schools to learn Socratic Seminar from celebrated school consultant Oscar Graybill.
Teachers completed 6 hours of intense instruction at Paul Revere. Our Eagle teachers are excited to share the strategies learned with our students and with our colleagues. Ms. Young, (Principal) - 6th Grade teachers - Ms. Freeman and Ms. Gilliam, 7th and 8th grade teachers - Ms. McReynolds, Ms. Ware, Ms. Ashford, Ms. Willock, Mr. Parkes, and Mr. Williams joined over 75 teachers selected to attend this training on higher order thinking skills.
