Harvest Fest - Day 4 - Final Day Friday, Nov. 1, 2013

Today was the final day of the first annual AMS Harvest Festival!
Students were able to choose from a variety of activities to express their celebration style.
Our regular Friday activities took place like - 8th grade Football on the field, the Beverly Hills Chess Club took over the College Center with over 40 students participating in strategy techniques for the difficult game.

In celebration of our final day of Harvest Week over 60 students participated in the Scary Movie Theater in our Fox Studios Donated State of the art library at lunch and 700+ students enjoyed the sites and sounds of the AMS Award Winning Drill Team and Drum line as they performed center stage on our beloved Quad! Drill team members showed their performance skills by wearing their Skinny Green Jeans and Drill team shirts.

Our student body celebrated an official Go Green Day when students give their uniform shirts a break and are allowed to wear - an AMS green T shirt or black or grey Shirt with Grey bottoms.

Our Special Education Department got in the groove of things by having a full scale celebration including a Homeroom Scary Cookie Decorating Contest and Dance off against their teachers and teacher assistants. A good time was had by all. Check out the photo album as students worked on teambuilding, social skills, and navigating cookie icing! Special thanks to Ms. Hayes-White, Ms. Ortega, Ms. Ware ( Her student team ate the most cookies) (Dept. Chair), Ms. Luke (Her student team used the most icing), Ms. Willock (Leading the Wobble Dance), Ms. Willis, Ms. Ngyugen, Mr. Riley (Winning Cookie Team),

Principal Young is thrilled that Harvest Week is over and Audubon is ready to get back to business!!
