It is your proud assistant principal Dr. Wolf, with some upcoming opportunities for our community.
First, at Crenshaw HS we will have a device distribution event this Saturday, August 6th from 8AM-12PM, where LAUSD students can pick up new Chromebooks they can use as long as they are in LAUSD. Our supply of new Chromebooks at Audubon is reserved for our new 6th grade students, and is limited, so if you want to guarantee a new Chromebook for your student I encourage you go!
Second, we have a Back 2 School Event at the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw Mall this Saturday August 6th from 11:00AM-5:00PM. There they will be giving away 5,000 Adidas backpacks, on a first come first serve basis. There will also be raffles, free haircuts, a health resource station, a job fair, and live entertainment. Audubon will have a booth there and we invite you come join us!
Remember, you can go to both events if you want. Chromebook pick up is at Crenshaw, from 8AM-12PM and the Back 2 School Event with Backpack giveaway is from 11:00AM-5:00PM. Hope to see you there!
